j4copy Licensing Policy

j4copy is free for personal and non-commercial use (e.g. non-profit
organizations).

You typically need a j4copy commercial license for the following cases:
a - selling software or service that includes j4copy
b - selling software or service that requires customers to install j4copy
    themselves on their machines
c - using or distributing j4copy within your profit organization
By purchasing a j4copy commercial license, you also get full source code,
build files, test cases and full documentation. This commercial license
also allows you to modify source code for your own internal needs.

j4copy releases are made available under the following license.
Please take a moment to read and accept the license terms.

"WE" (THE AUTHOR) ARE WILLING TO LICENSE THE "SOFTWARE" (J4COPY AND ITS
ACCOMPANYING DOCUMENTATION) TO "YOU" (THE USER) FOR EVALUATION AND USING
OR TESTING PURPOSES ONLY UPON THE CONDITION THAT YOU ACCEPT ALL OF THE
TERMS OF THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT. PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE
INSTALLING OR USING THE SOFTWARE. BY INSTALLING OR USING THE SOFTWARE,
YOU ARE CONSENTING TO BE BOUND BY AND ARE BECOMING A PARTY TO THIS
AGREEMENT.


1. Software:

The licensed Software is "j4copy".


2. Grant of License:

We hereby grant to You, following the execution of this Agreement (the
"Agreement"), a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive,
non-sublicensable, worldwide license to use.
Source code of the Software is provided for consultation only.


3. Exclusions:

You shall not:
a - reverse compile or reverse assemble any portion of the Software where
    the source code is not freely accessible,
b - modify or re-use source code of the Software for your own project,
c - distribute, disclose, market, rent, lease, or transfer the Software,
d - export the Software.


4. Support:

We may make available updates, enhancements, and/or modifications to the
Software and may provide such updates to You, but are under no obligation
to do so. The provision by Us to You of such updates, enhancements,
and/or modifications to the Software shall be subject to all terms and
conditions of this Agreement.


5. Specific Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability:

THERE IS NO WARRANTY FOR THE SOFTWARE, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY
APPLICABLE LAW. EXCEPT WHEN OTHERWISE STATED IN WRITING THE COPYRIGHT
HOLDERS AND/OR OTHER PARTIES PROVIDE THE SOFTWARE "AS IS" WITHOUT
WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT
LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF
THE SOFTWARE IS WITH YOU. SHOULD THE SOFTWARE PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME
THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION.

IN NO EVENT UNLESS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW OR AGREED TO IN WRITING
WILL ANY COPYRIGHT HOLDER, OR ANY OTHER PARTY WHO MAY MODIFY AND/OR
REDISTRIBUTE THE SOFTWARE AS PERMITTED ABOVE, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR
DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY GENERAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE
(INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA OR DATA BEING RENDERED
INACCURATE OR LOSSES SUSTAINED BY YOU OR THIRD PARTIES OR A FAILURE OF
THE SOFTWARE TO OPERATE WITH ANY OTHER SOFTWARES), EVEN IF SUCH HOLDER OR
OTHER PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.


6. Governing Law:

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of France.
